Where do I start with this amazingly fun wedding? Doug was the Best Man at one of our weddings several years back, and we were stoked when he and the lovely Paula reached out. Paula and Doug had a trifecta of amazingness when it came to their wedding–One, beauty all around…the venue…the decor…the couple. Two, two of the coolest mothers a wedding planner could ever ask to work with. And three, a couple that knows how to work it. And when we say work it, we mean pose in the best possible way for the camera. I am doing the happy dance in my chair as I share these images with you.
Paula and Doug rented an amazing home within walking distance from the hotel for the Ladies to get ready in. It also served as the rehearsal dinner location.
Their wedding day was beautiful, but oh so windy! But, looking at the photos, you’d never know it. The altar arrangements were placed on belly bars as a precautionary measure. We find that the Scripps Seaside Forum weddings have a certain time each day where the wind really kicks up, then magically winds down. When is that? Shoot us a line, and we’ll let you know! (it depends on time of year)
See what I mean about picture perfect? We love how Paula wears her heart on her (one!) sleeve all day.
Once the ceremony was over, the party began! But, not before a few bridal party and beach pictures…
