Kaitlin married Ryan last October at the Rancho Chiquita’s Event center in Malibu. The day started off quite disappointing for Malibu weather. It was completely overcast and drizzling a bit. This was a big concern for the wedding because it was all outdoors! But we hussled and got everything ready and by the time the guests arrived it was beautiful!

This is such a great idea for the first look. The couple first exchanged notes (facing away from each other), and then turned around to see each other. You can see the anticipation in each of their faces.

Kaitlin wanted a beautiful natural feel to her wedding. The Rancho Chiquita Events center was the perfect place for this. The ceremony site overlooked the cliffs in Malibu. The reception and cocktail hour was seated on a plateau just above that. It was a gorgeous place to get married.

Kaitlin out so much thought into her and Ryan’s wedding day. The details were amazing. Cigar boxes, Polaroid pictures, wishing cards and more were available for guests. It was truly beautiful. Guests got to enjoy vast views before the sun set, and then twinkly market lighting let the guests dance all night long.
