Mary and Andrew came to me with a clear vision of a romantic and sweet garden wedding with a color palette of mint, blush and gold. Twin Oaks Garden Estate was the perfect setting and the whole night truly felt like a fairytale.
When guests arrived they walked through the lush property get to the picturesque ceremony location where swirled pink petals led to a gazebo. In place of a traditional guestbook, they wrote their names on wooden hearts and slid them into a shadow box for a fun keepsake for the bride and groom.
After their “I Do’s,” guests sipped on signature drinks and were treated to Italian ice with fun custom spoons that had phrases such as “love is sweet.” After they found their seats on watercolor escort cards resting on a bed of blush hydrangeas, they entered the reception in a tented space amid the trees. Tess Fresh Flowers created romantic high and low arrangements and gorgeous pink rose bouquets for the bride and her bridesmaids.
There were a ton of fun details (many hand made by the bride) such as striped mint straws, a paper rosette background for the dessert table, giant gold confetti, and the “Mr” and “Mrs” banner. The bride herself made most of the fun desserts including the custom cake pops at each place setting. Injoy Entertainment kept the party going and guests were even treated to a surprise hip-hop violinist! Mary and Andrew are such a fun-loving couple, which was reflected throughout the entire wedding. It was a truly magical day!
