I so loved this couple! They were so calm and loving throughout the entire planning process.
Their wedding took place on a breathtakingly beautiful clear summer day, at The Dana. The Dana is a quaint hotel with spectacular views of the bay. The ceremony was something straight out of a dream with a backdrop of bright blue water, and an arc of a gorgeous mixture of white roses, hydrangeas, and orchids. The aisle that Frankie & Blake walked down was covered in a swirl of white rose petals.
After the couple exchanged their vows, the guests were invited to cocktail hour out on the patio. Where they listened to music, enjoyed appetizers, sipped on cocktails, and left notes and helpful tips for the bride and groom about starting their new life together.
The reception was nothing short of elegant. With a calm palette of beige, silver, and rose, no one could anticipate the fun and amount of dancing that would happen. By the end of the night everyone was on the dance floor. When it came time for the garter toss, Frankie decided that the traditional way of throwing it behind your back wasn’t good enough, so he went under the sweet heart table and pulled out a nurf gun, and shot the garter across the room.
When it came to cake cutting, Blake had a surprise for her baseball loving new husband; a groom’s cake of a replica of the Dodger’s Stadium. As the night came to an end, the bride & groom requested that all of their guest follow them out to the ceremony site. Once there, they asked everyone to light wish lanterns while making a special wish for their future together. The lanterns floating away over the bay was a beautiful ending to a spectacular wedding.
