On a lovely warm day in October 2013, Kristen and Matt said their “I Do’s” in an intimate ceremony with family and friends at the beautiful Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa. Their love, friendship, strong devotion to each other and each other’s families, their fun-loving spirits, and beauty these two share, is a love story to be in awe about.

This elegant garden themed wedding included a combination of the bride’s personal touches and creativity along with gorgeous floral bouquets and decor.

Kristen and Matt’s heartfelt ceremony was performed by Kristen’s Grandfather. Such a special memory that the bride and groom will cherish forever! Kristen and Matt had designed adorable bags that were filled with cut out paper hearts. Once Kristen’s Grandfather introduced the new Mr. and Mrs! guests were utterly excited to open the paper bag, grab hearts and shower the Newlyweds! You can see and feel the love and excitement in these images. Makes me smile from ear to ear!

Kristen and Matt created their own signature cocktails for their guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. A greenery wreath and moss balls draped from the patio where guests viewed the seating assignments.

Full of joy and excitement, guests entered the elegant and romantic reception where they found handfuls of beautiful pomanders suspended above the dance floor. On each guests napkin, a fresh sprig of Rosemary was placed to give the garden romantic smell and touch. Ranging from small, medium, and tall cylinder vases, arrangements of white florals and natural green foliage accented the reception tables perfectly. Kristen’s incredible bouquet was designed with succulents, peonies, garden roses and other wild flowers and was absolutely gorgeous in every way! Kristen looked so glamorous and stunning in her Tara Keely wedding dress, accompanied by her beautiful bridesmaids in black long elegant dresses. Matt dressed in his classic black Theory tux, accompanied by his groomsmen in their sharp looking black suits. Their pretty flower girls and handsome ring bearers made their bridal party complete and extra special! Moments like these will be cherished and remembered forever.
