When Kat and Aldo approached me for their fall Admiral Kidd Club wedding, they already had a clear vision for what they wanted for their big day: something fun and casual that highlighted their personalities. They graciously invited me to their rehearsal dinner as well where I got to know the bridal party and family a little more, and I have to say, they were one of the most fun groups I’ve worked with!
Admiral Kidd Club is right on the bay in Point Loma with the most stunning view of the San Diego skyline! It was a sunny day and was the perfect backdrop for their vows.
Kat and Aldo decided to do a first look, which I always love. The excitement on his face when he sees his bride for the first time is priceless!
The bride wanted the day to feel bright and happy and decided on incorporating sunflowers throughout her decor.
One of her guests (and another one of my beautiful bride’s!) made all of the fun custom desserts for the dessert table. She specializes in cake pops and made them to look like sunflowers in the custom cake pop stand.
Kat and Aldo, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day! I loved getting to know you and your families and will always remember the warmth of your big day.

This is a beautiful wedding! I love that you are based in San Diego, that is where I live too. It is one of the best places to get married. I really like this wedding, right down by harbor island. Looks like it was a really nice venue.
San Diego sure does have everything doesn’t it? Outside Weddings by the beach pretty much all year round plus all the great indoor venues in the area. Those sunflowers too! Terrific!
