Erin Zipfel married Daniel Holian on October 6th, 2012 at the USD Immaculata Church, with a reception at the US Grant Hotel. Erin and Danny had quite a wedding experience! Danny was deployed for over half of the wedding planning experience, so Erin and I had quite a fun time planning everything so that when he got home he had a great wedding to come home to. Erin wanted to make sure that Danny’s military experience was included in their wedding, and it definitely was. The groom and the groomsmen were in their dress whites, and my favorite part of their wedding was the sword arch that they exited the church through. It was a great experience for all to have.
The Navy blue accents, and blush colors played perfectly together in this Military wedding. Erin wanted to make sure that the details included parts to include Danny. She was such a thoughtful bride. She even organized a bagpiper to play as they exited the church through the sword arch. Even Danny’s Bull Dog got to be part of the experience, although the wedding veil did look better on Erin! The church was filled with beautiful music, and a beautiful ceremony for the couple to share in. It was magic.
The reception was held at The US Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego, and it was the perfect setting for this military couple. The Ballroom gave way to a great space to fill the gorgeous florals from Blush Botanicals. The different level centerpieces were a perfect fit for the large room.
Guests were treated to a surprise piano performance from Erin’s father, that brought people to tears. It was a great wedding reception to get to see. The couple even cut the cake with Danny’s sword. It was the perfect way to start their lives together. Erin and Danny even got into the interactive photo booth for a few fun shots.
This couple knew how to have fun. The best surprise was when Erin out on Danny’s military boots for the garter removal. Everyone had a good laugh. I was happy to there for every step of the planning process for Erin and Danny.
Special Thanks to all the vendors who made their day special.
