Michelle and Kilp married on August 7th, 2010 at the Twin Oaks Golf Club in San Marcos. The backdrop for this wedding was a gorgeous lush green landscape. Mountains drifted in the far off distance and gave way to some awesome pictures. Let me tell you that not everyone can pull off a canary yellow wedding, but Michelle and Kilp did it with ease. Of course with the help of their florist Adina from Simply Adina’s Florals. Soft yellow touches graced everything from the bouquets, to the chair sashes, and even the candy favors. There was a lot of time and detail put into this wedding.

I think one of my favorite items at the wedding was the scrapbook that Kilp made for Michelle as his way of proposing to her. Guests got the chance to flip through the pages of the book at the reception. It was a big hit! Almost as big as the choreographed dance the couple did for their first dance. The guests were floored when the music changed from a soft slow dance to an upbeat dance mix. You couldn’t keep guests off the dance floor after that! To top the night off the couple had a fantastic cake from Christopher Garren who is on the WE TV show Amazing Wedding Cakes. I was so happy to have the opportunity to be apart of Michelle and Kilp’s special day. Rachel and I had a blast! It was one of the first truly beautiful days weather-wise of 2010, and I think it couldn’t have worked better for a nicer couple. Congrats you two!
