It was a very sweet and beautiful day this past September for this lovely couple to say their “I Do’s!” They married at the gorgeous Martin Johnson House, a very intimate and beautiful venue that sits on top of a cliff just overlooking the Scripps Pier and La Jolla Shores.

Crane and Vincent’s wedding was truly a reflection of their unique and fun personalities as a couple. Most of their family and friends flew into Southern California from all across the country. They wanted their wedding to be romantic with a garden twist, and especially FUN. It was also a very personal and DIY event.

These two lovebirds met at a Taiwanese tea house called “Tea Station” here in San Diego in 2012.  From the Groom: “I proposed to Crane at Snow Summit.  I kept the rings in my coat pocket as we traveled up to the ski resort, and by that time the sun was already setting.  As we got off the lifts to begin skiing, I sped ahead of her to prepare for the proposal.  I knelt to one knee after she caught up to me and presented the ring, and asked her to be my wife!” The rest is history!

Crane and Vincent wrote their own personal and heartfelt vows for one another and both managed to hold it together to seal the deal with a kiss (or a few).  Alongside the stunning Bride in her white dress, her other half dressed in a sharp white tux accented with a crisp white tie. The Bride’s ladies dressed in mixed pink and coral dresses, while the Groom’s gentlemen wore black suits accented with muted green ties. Their doggies, Bagel and Donut also made their special debut wearing matching doggie suits.

The Bride, Groom and guests continued their wedding reception celebration at a local restaurant here in San Diego called China Max. They had a ton of help with DIY projects, one being Super Hero theme. The Bride and Groom wanted to make a fun game for guests upon arriving to China Max. The guests’ found their personal polaroid picture, which listed a Super Hero Name, then had to match the name with the Super Hero image that was placed on each table. The guests’ thoroughly enjoyed this!

The dinner was delicious as you might expect, followed by warm wishes and toasts from their Maid of Honor and Best Man. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, the Bride and Groom had the time of their lives!  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Chung, wishing you two much love, laughter, and Happily Ever After!
