Right from the start I loved Heather and Chuck’s fun-loving sense of humor. Heather’s organization and genuine sweet heart made for a lovely experience to coordinate their special day aboard the California Spirit Yacht.

Heather and Chuck share a love and passion for sailing. They could think of no better place to be wed. The two were married on the Flagship California Spirit yacht on a beautiful sunny day in September 2013.Before the guests boarded the yacht, Heather & Chuck had their special & intimate time together sharing their first look! Talk about a perfect moment!

Their sophisticated, classic and nautical theme gave that special touch to a gorgeous San Diego Bay wedding ceremony and reception. Navy, deep and bright pink as their color palette. The bridesmaids dressed in knee-length navy dresses with warm pink shawls, and groomsmen wore matching deep-pink ties. Their adorable flower girl matched the bridesmaids with a navy sash and ring bearers matched the groomsmen to the tee!

Upon arriving at Glorietta Bay, guests were greeted by the Captain and made their way to the observation deck where the ceremony was held. Ceremony music was performed by a sensational string trio, which added the extra romantic feeling. Heather and Chuck exchanged their wedding vows on the beautiful San Diego Bay with their closest loved ones there.

Guests proceeded to cocktail hour where they found their names attached to cute white beach chairs, accompanied with a special compass ornament. The compass ornament signified a very special meaning dear to Heather’s heart. On the back of guests place cards read: “Heather’s Mom collected Christmas tree ornaments to remember life’s special events while decorating her tree each year. Maybe the compass will find its way to your tree?”

From the invitation, to the place cards, the reception compass table numbers and the bright and colorful florals, every single little detail pulled together this beautiful, nautical and classic themed wedding!

As the California Flagship cruised under the stars along San Diego Bay, gorgeous views of downtown San Diego and Coronado Bridge lit up the evening sky. The gleaming bride, handsome groom, family and friends danced the night away aboard the California Flagship. All events flowed seamlessly and smiles, love, congratulations, and hugs were shared throughout the evening. Congrats to Heather and Chuck and may your voyage together be a happily ever after!
